The Old Masters – New Visions painting seminar,now in its 16th year will begin in Payerbach. A three and four week painting seminar with Prof Phil Rubinov Jacobson will take place at the Payerbacher Hof Hotel.
Although they never met, the Australian witch Rosaleen Norton (1917-1979) and British visionary artist Austin Osman Spare (1886-1956) shared many points in common. As occult practitioners operating within the Western esoteric tradition, both artists were well versed in the literature of Western magic, Theosophy, kabbalah, Eastern mysticism, and modern psychoanalysis.
Dreamscapes is coming to Enschede in the Netherlands this year with a special exhibition of international Imaginary Realism. “Dreamscapes: Mixed-Up” is the intersection of the traditional and with the mysterious and playful aspects of this art movement.

In any case, people will gather on 11th February, for the visions of “Dali‘s heirs” to take in concepts for a better world.
The very active Japanese artist collective, the International Fantastic Art Association (IFAA), is exhibiting in Osaka this coming February. Thirty nine of the group’s members will be each exhibiting two small works offering a small window on Japanese Fantastic Art.
