The Lowbrow Tarot Project showcases 23 amazing artists who have used their creative genius and unique styles to take on the 22 Major Arcana, including the card back, and create 23 new works of art in the rugged glow of the lowbrow art movement to be displayed in an exhibition at La Luz de Jesus in October 2010. A hard cover tabletop book and full colour tarot card deck will also be produced.

Shoji Tanaka was born 1957 in Toyama, Japan. From 1977 he spent three years living and studying in France. His paintings draw upon images from the Middle Ages, while also re-interpreting various sources of literature. After discovering the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism, he then commenced researching classical painting techniques.

2010 starts with the first group exhibition project for Fantastic Visions. We will be exhibiting the artwork of Dennis Konstantin, Micha Colory Krebs and Leo Plaw at the Lichtenberger Kultschule in Berlin. The exhibition will comprise a selection of the artists paintings.
