International Fantastic Art Association in Paris 2009
The L’art fantastique Paris 2009 exhibition is the first outside of Japan for the International Fantastic Art Association with guest artists from Australia, France and Germany included. The IFAA intends this to be the first of many exhibitions abroad for their group. The exhibition is right in the heart of Paris, at the Association Culturelle Franco-Japonaise de Tenri, which is only a few blocks away from the Louvre Museum.

Five years ago, Japanese artist Shoji Tanaka discovered the Society for the Art of Imagination (AOI) and then later Beinart.org. It was at that time that he put together IFAA believing that they needed something else than just galleries, as in Japan there are few Fantastic Art galleries.

The International Fantastic Art Association presents it’s “Fantastic Art Show Tokyo 2011″ this month.
IFAA Tokyo Exhibition 2012
The Japanese artist group, the International Fantastic Art Association (IFAA) is again exhibiting, this time with twin exhibitions. The exhibition opens at the Salon de G Gallery, in the world renowned, artsy Ginza district of Tokyo. Exhibiting with the 52 IFFA members will be two guest French arstists Dominique Desorges and Hugues Gillet. Both artists have exhibited with the group in Paris.
