Siegfried Zademack – Rudifredlinkegalerie

The  Rudifredlinkegalerie  in Munster-Wolbeck will be exhibiting the biggest single collection of artwork from Siegfried Zademack, with more than 60 works spanning four decades. Among them are artworks that have been completed only in recent months and not yet exhibited before. The paintings of Zademack are artfully arranged, and meticulously painted on canvas or wood. His time-consuming process of painting is eye-catching.

In Zademack’s artworks there are recurring themes and motifs: infinite landscapes like from another planet, strange characters and a symbolism that plays upon various metaphors.

Siegfried Zademack credits as his teachers the “Old Masters”, the painters of Dutch and Italian Early and High Renaissance such as van Eyck, Raphael, Vermeer or Andrea del Satro, who inspire his use of oil colours in the translation of light and shadow.

The opening will take place during the  “Night of the Museums and Galleries”. At the opening, the gallery offers a free shuttle bus every hour, commencing at 3:30 p.m., from the Loerstrasse at Karstadt Department Store and runs directly to Wolbeck. The return trips are every hour on the hour from Wolbeck. The last bus leaves at midnight from Wolbeck returning to the city center.
