Why Visionary Art Matters: An Evening With Brigid Marlin

Master painter and spiritual seeker, Brigid Marlin is the founder of the Society for the Art of Imagination and of the Inscape group of artists. As a world traveling teacher, she has educated many artists about painting techniques used by various visionary painters. Her talk, “A Brush with Adventure,” begins with a step by step demonstration of the misch painting technique, a painting process used by Flemish and Italian Renaissance painters, later popularised again by her teacher and mentor, Ernst Fuchs.

Following the artist’s presentation, Brigid, Alex Grey and Allyson Grey will discuss, “Why Visionary Art Matters.”
