Begegnung der Völker in der Malerei – Benedetto Fellin

Benedetto Fellin Wirt Haus Ausstellung

Begegnung der Völker in der Malerei exhibition from Benedetto Fellin

Viennese artist Benedetto Fellin is the new guest artist at studio of the Scheiflinger artists Angelika and Rudi Hirt, with an exhibition of his artwork.

Fellin’s artwork has much to do with cultures, people and color. Fellin’s travells through, Aisa, Africa and the Central American region have influenced the themes of his painting. “I’m Fantastic Realist. Anton Lehmden and Rudolf Hausner were my teachers, “said Fellin. ”I have lived for decades in Vienna, where I graduated from art school” said Fellin.

Lehmden, Hausner, are two great representatives of Fantastic Realism, the art direction which is simply described by its name. The artworks are almost photographically real. Every hair, every wrinkle in clothing has been created in great detail. ”Sometimes it takes months for a picture,” says Benedetto Fellin.

His paintings have been shown in Vienna, Innsbruck, Kiel, Munich, Tokyo, Bangkok and Mexico. Artworks by Benedetto Fellin are also held in numerous private collections, as well as in the Austrian Belvedere Gallery, Ferdinandeum Innsbruck and the Museum of Reinhold Messner, MMM, South Tyrol. He has even taken commission from famous personalities such as Reinhold Messner. “I painted three large pictures. One of Tibet, one of South and one from Latin America, “said Fellin.

For a long time the Viennese artist has been friends with Rudy and Angelica Hirt. And: “Now he has finally come to us. I am very pleased, “says Angelika Hirt-Thomsen. Fellin’s artwoks have filled the Hirt’s studio.
