Magical Realism is a 20th century direction of art inspired by metaphysical painting, which can be regarded as a specific form of Surrealism. The creator of this trend was C. Willink, and the first works were created during the 20s of the twentieth century. Magic Realism painting shows a seemingly ordinary world, but differs from the generally accepted normal one. It attempts to capture the tension expressed in the strange contrasts of people an places. Today, Magical Realism is a booming trend of painting. Practising artists demonstrate a very demanding discipline and high level of technical skill to render their metaphysical truths. In addition, the artist must still have to deliver to the world something important for various reasons will attract attention of the recipient, and which – in today’s media world – it is extremely difficult, of course, using the classical forms of communication such as: brush, canvas, or bronze.
