Expanded Visons in the Misch Technik

Visions in the Misch Technik 2012

Visions in the Misch Technik 2012

Now in its 5th Year, the Expanded Visions in the Misch Tecknik seminar offers 3 weeks of intensive teaching. With Amanda Sage you will learn the alchemy of the MischTechnik. Maura Holden will offer new insights into glazing. Andrew Gonzalez will provide instruction with the airbrush. Laurence Caruana will guide his students into new ways of Seeing.

In the cosy and creative atmosphere of Torri Superiore, a labyrinthine village of spiralling stairs and narrow passages, students will develop three original works under the expert guidance of the experienced artists. Creative techniques, preparing materials, practical tips and secrets of the craft, will be demonstrated and applied hands on.

Tuition for the course includes 3 weeks of full accommodation. Everyone will live communally, sharing all meals and spending the evenings in relaxed conversation or creative exploration, enjoying the village bohemian charms.

The group will also visit Damanhur’s subterranean Temples of Humankind. The master of the MischTechnik, Professor Ernst Fuchs, will likely visit the group, view student’s artworks and pick up a brush to demonstrate.

The hill-top eco-village of Torri Superiore is a small community where the inhabitants live in harmony with their environment, practising permaculture and sustainable living. The group will become part of village life, sharing in communal meals prepared by the local chef, with fresh and mostly organic ingredients grown in the surrounding fields.
