Psychoradiology: Applied Jungian Concepts
Glass Garage Gallery is launching its newest exhibition, “Psychoradiology: Applied Jungian Concepts”. Over the last twelve months, several Glass Garage Gallery artists have been studying the works of psychologist Carl Jung, particularly regarding dream analysis. The artists have captured images from their own dreams and psyches and created original artworks for this exhibition.
Joseph Campbell wrote that Carl Jung recognised that dreams are the “x-rays” of a person’s spiritual state. We are proud that the brave artists contributing to the “Psychoradiology” exhibition have agreed to allow us to view these “x-rays” of their inner lives.
For the opening exhibition, artists Steven Kenny, Larissa Morais, and Margo Selski have agreed to submit to actual psychotherapy sessions in front of a live audience with noted Jungian psychoanalyst Nancy Furlotti. Due to an overwhelming response, all seats have been taken for the Friday, July 16th and Saturday 17th psychoanalysis sessions. Thus there, there are currently no further seats available. Names are being accepted for the waiting lists for both nights.
