Eleven artists working with Fantastic Art, from Germany, France, Serbia, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic were exhibited in the Bavarian Forest town of Viechtach as part of the IPaX (International Peace Art Exhibitions) project. Most of the artists work together as a group known as Dali’s Heirs, with the remainder invited as guests of the group. On display were 55 artworks in the Viechtach Old Town Hall. The opening was attended by some 400 visitors, who were then later that evening treated to a Spanish festival on the town square. The video that follows in this article is an interview with the exhibition curator, and artist, Reinhard Schmid. He explains the background and the work involved to stage the exhibition.
