Amanda belongs to the current generation of artists influenced by the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism owing to her education with the Fuchs family.
In 2008 Amanda relocated to America, finding live in studio space in an artist warehouse project in down town Los Angeles. She has since then travelled yearly back to Vienna where she still maintains her studio in the WUK.
Amanda attended the 80th birthday celebrations of Ernst Fuchs in 2010, where she was invited to give a speech in his honour. The speech ended up being given by Fuchs in her honour when stood up beside her and praised her instead.
As of that same year she started co-operating with Canadian artist Laurence Caruana to teach the Misch Technique at the painting seminars he organises in Italy. Following the Summer painting seminar she organised the “Irresistable Flow of Time” exhibition at Galerie 10.
